We are one of three locations founded by Dr. Melissa Magnuson in Nashua, New Hampshire. Our AAHA-accredited, small animal general practice sees dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and pocket pets. Our services include wellness and sick appointments, surgical procedures, dentistry, radiology, ultrasounds, companion laser therapy, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and more.

Sign-on bonus (amount depends on experience and skill level)

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Client communication in person and over the phone
  • Checking in and out appointments
  • Phlebotomy, catheter placement, cystocentesis, fine-needle aspirates
  • Animal restraint, anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep
  • Running treatments and providing stellar patient care
  • Strong computer skills and excellent customer service skills
  • Thoughtful, friendly, responsible, punctual, eager to learn

CVT, LVT, RVT certification is a plus.

Must be able to withstand odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, waste, and contagious diseases.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent technical skills
  • Punctuality and readiness to work
  • Proficiency in computer skills (paperless practice)
  • Attention to detail and quick learning
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret medical records and client history
  • Knowledge of preventative care and hospital flow
  • Ability to restrain pets safely and calmly
  • Proficiency in sample collection (blood, urine, fecal, skin)
  • Laboratory sample processing (preferred)
  • Radiograph positioning and capturing
  • Anesthesia preparation, monitoring, and recovery
  • Self-motivated with a desire to advance skills
  • Receptive to constructive feedback

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience preferred; CVT/RVT/LVT is a bonus
  • Animal handling experience
  • Avimark experience
  • Experience in an AAHA-accredited hospital
