Sequist Animal Hospital, part of AmeriVet Veterinary Partners, is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team in Morristown, VT. The role focuses on assisting veterinarians, patient care, and accurate record keeping in a supportive hospital environment.

We operate Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with a four‑day work week for team members, prioritizing work-life balance. Competitive hourly pay, bonuses for surgical experience, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Assisting Veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
• Understanding of medical terminology and products.
• Safe and fear free animal restraint/handling.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
• Running lab diagnostics.
• Radiology techniques (including dental).
• Phlebotomy skills / catheter placement.
• Appropriate sterilization of hospital and equipment.
• Provide education for clients through effective communication.
• Anesthesia monitoring including pre and post op.
• Machine maintenance.
• Appropriate record keeping.

We are open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with team members having a four-day work week. This means no weekends or late-night shifts! Why? Because we truly value a work life balance. While the work we provide is incredibly important and valuable, so are you.

Pay Range

rate is based off from experience and certifications but can range from $18.00 to $27.00 per hour. This can vary depending on experience.

SIGN ON BONUS FOR SURGICAL EXPERIENCE OF $1000.00

Core Responsibilities / Skills
