Job summary

Breton Veterinary Hospital in Leonardtown, MD is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join a supportive team. A licensed Vet Tech with at least 1 year of hands-on experience is preferred, with responsibilities including blood draws, catheter placement, and surgical preparation and assistance.

Qualifications

• A current Veterinary Technician License in good standing

• At least 1-year of hands-on experience previously working as a Veterinary Technician
• The desire to perform a multitude of veterinary technician tasks including blood draws, catheter placement, obtaining urine/stool samples, surgical preparation and assistance, and MORE!
• A learning mindset as it is never too late to learn new skills or to improve the ones you already have

• Attention to detail and a high degree of organization

• A positive, friendly demeanor is a MUST!

Hours & Availability

This is a full time opening! Your availability should align with our hours of operation as follows:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8am – 6pm

• Wednesday: 8am – 2pm

• Saturday: 9am – 1pm

Compensation & Benefits

Our amazing team members can expect competitive pay and great benefits! The starting range for this position is $24 to $29 per hour, dependent upon education and/or experience.
