South Maui Animal Clinic, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner in Kihei, HI, is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team. You will perform end-to-end veterinary care, including outpatient treatments, lab tests, admissions, and discharges, while engaging with clients to explain procedures and financial options.

You will work in a collaborative environment that supports career growth, with a 4-day work week (Saturdays required) and abundant learning resources through Thrive Pet Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Animal Handling
• Pre- and post-operative patient care
• Creating and presenting financial options and estimates

• Taking X-Rays of animals
• Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments prescribed by our in-house veterinarians.
• Drawing blood samples for testing

South Maui Animal Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Compensation

$21-$25 Hourly depending on experience.
