Job summary

South Maui Animal Clinic, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner in Kihei, HI, is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team. You will provide end-to-end care for patients, including outpatient treatments, lab work, and admissions/discharges, supporting our veterinarians and clients.

The role emphasizes hands-on patient care, client interaction, and accurate service documentation, with opportunities to grow through Thrive Pet Healthcare resources and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Animal handling.
• Pre- and post-operative patient care.
• Creating and presenting financial options and estimates.

• Taking X-Rays of animals.
• Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments prescribed by our in-house veterinarians.
• Drawing blood samples for testing.

South Maui Animal Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Compensation-

$21-$25 Hourly depending on experience.
