Job summary

Countryside Veterinary Hospital in Idaho Falls is hiring a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to deliver skilled patient care and excellent client service. Expect four 8–10 hour shifts Mon–Fri, with two 7:30/8:00 AM starts and two 6 PM end times.

Qualifications

• CVT certification is preferred.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Knowledge of common diseases and ability to alert veterinarians to changes.
• Familiarity with DEA, OSHA and hospital safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates.
• Perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
• Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Salary: $16.00-$19.00 per hour dependent on skills and experience

Schedule: This is a full-time position with four 8–10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday. The typical schedule includes two shifts from 7:30 AM–6:00 PM and two shifts from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.
