West Houston Veterinary Medical Associates in Houston, TX is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. You will provide nursing care during exams, assist veterinarians with diagnostics, surgery, and anesthesia monitoring, and help deliver high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Licensed, Registered, or Certified Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT) preferred (or equivalent experience considered).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to patients during exams, treatments, and procedures
• Assist veterinarians with diagnostics, surgery, and anesthesia monitoring

• Safely handle and restrain pets of all sizes and temperaments
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed
• Educate clients on treatment plans, preventive care, and post-visit instructions
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
