Job summary

Family Pet Clinic is hiring a full-time Veterinary Technician in Horsham, PA to provide skilled patient care and excellent client service. Our ideal candidate has at least 1 year of veterinary experience, the ability to handle animals safely, and strong knowledge of common procedures including radiographs and IV catheter placement.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates.
• Perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
• Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Job description

Salary: $21- $25 per hour, based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays and two evening shifts per week. The hospital closes from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, for lunch.
