Veterinary Technician opportunity

We are a large, and growing AAHA accredited mixed animal practice in Citrus County, FL with 9 doctors; planning to move to a new building upon its completion in January 2026.
The standard of care practiced at Countryside exceeds most clinics, so our team members are passionate about client education, recommending the best medicine, providing fear free care, and creating a strong bond between our clients and patients.
We are looking for positive, outgoing, preferably experienced technicians, who enjoy working with pets of all types and their owners to fill an outpatient or inpatient technician position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with Doctors, technicians, and client care representatives to facilitate the efficient operations of the exam room and treatment. Greet clients and patients, prepare treatment plans, SOAP's; leverage the Doctor by preparing the room, (equipment, vaccines, rabies tags, charges entered, samples collected, etc.), make appropriate recommendations, help with daily callbacks, assist in maintaining medical records, and calculate drug doses, venipuncture, cystocentesis, IV catheter placement, caring for hospitalized patients, handling emergencies, assisting surgery technicians, and performing radiographs. Personnel with surgery technical experience are welcome also.
Client Care opportunity:
We are looking for positive, outgoing, experienced receptionists, who enjoy working with pets of all types and their owners to fill a Client Care Representative position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greeting each client and patient as they enter the lobby, assist the client in the check in and check out process, obtain a weight on patients greater than 25 pounds, and escort the patient to an available exam room. In addition, Client Care Representatives may review invoices with clients, answer basic animal care and routine procedure questions, educate clients on over-the-counter products such as shampoos, nutraceuticals, flea tick and heartworm preventives, communicate treatment plans and handle telephone, fax and emails.
