Veterinary Technician - Best Friends Animal Hospital and Pet Hotel

Location: Fayetteville, AR

Employment Type: Full-time (30-40 hours/week)

Schedule: Monday–Friday (7:00 am–6:30 pm), with alternating Saturdays (7:00 am–2:30 pm). We support a 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays.

Best Friends Animal Hospital and Pet Hotel, partnered with Thrive Pet Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Veterinary Technician. If you love animals, want to expand your medical knowledge, and are committed to making a community difference, we would love to meet you.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Veterinary Technician experience required
  • A team player passionate about pets and medicine

Role Responsibilities:
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures
  • Provide compassionate care to pets and clients
  • Draw blood, place IV catheters, perform in-house diagnostics, and surgical monitoring
  • Communicate with clients about pet health concerns, Thrive Membership options, medications, and treatments
  • Maintain medical records and charts accurately
  • Use safe restraining techniques and follow protocols
  • Keep treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs clean and organized
