Job description

Veterinary Technician – Campbell Village Veterinary Clinic (Dallas, TX)

Are you looking for a veterinary hospital where your skills are valued, your voice matters, and you can make a difference for patients and clients every day?

At Campbell Village Veterinary Clinic, we’re more than just a veterinary practice — we’re a close-knit team that has proudly served the Dallas community for years. As an independent, locally owned hospital, we prioritize people and pets over profit, allowing our team to focus on compassionate care, collaboration, and genuine relationships.

We’re currently seeking a kind, motivated, and team-oriented Veterinary Technician who takes pride in excellent patient care and wants to be part of a supportive, fun, and high-quality veterinary team.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • Locally owned and independently operated — no corporate oversight or cookie-cutter approach to patient care.

  • Established and respected in the Dallas community, with a loyal client base and excellent reputation.

  • Collaborative, drama-free team culture where everyone plays an important role and your ideas are valued.

  • Supportive doctors and management who appreciate the skills, knowledge, and contributions of their veterinary support team.

  • Work-life balance that’s real, with a team that respects time away from work and supports one another.

What You’ll Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll work closely with our doctors and support team to provide exceptional care throughout all areas of the hospital. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting veterinarians with appointments, treatments, and procedures

  • Patient restraint and safe, compassionate handling

  • Venipuncture and catheter placement

  • Collecting and preparing laboratory samples

  • Running in-house diagnostics

  • Preparing patients for surgery and assisting with surgical procedures

  • Monitoring anesthesia and patient recovery

  • Taking diagnostic radiographs

  • Administering medications and treatments as directed

  • Maintaining accurate patient medical records

  • Educating and communicating with clients about patient care

  • Maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment areas

  • Supporting teammates wherever needed to keep the hospital running smoothly

What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level

  • Generous paid vacation and holidays

  • Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Opportunities for continuing education and professional growth

  • Employee pet care discount

  • Allowance for scrubs/uniforms

  • Supportive management that values communication, development, and career growth

  • A workplace where your contributions are genuinely appreciated

Who We’re Looking For

We’d love to meet someone who:

  • Has previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience

  • Is comfortable working with dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments

  • Has strong technical skills and a desire to continue learning

  • Provides compassionate, attentive patient care

  • Communicates professionally and kindly with clients and coworkers

  • Is dependable, organized, and able to manage priorities in a busy hospital

  • Enjoys being part of a collaborative team and is willing to jump in where needed

  • Values long‑term relationships with clients, patients, and teammates

Licensed Veterinary Technicians are encouraged to apply, but licensure is not required.

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform the physical duties associated with veterinary patient care.

Join Our Team

If you’re searching for a veterinary hospital that feels like a team — one where your technical skills are respected, your growth is supported, and people genuinely enjoy working together — we’d love to hear from you.

Let’s build something meaningful together — for our patients, our clients, and each other.
