Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join the team at Dade City Animal Clinic in Dade City, Florida. This busy clinic provides preventative and urgent care for a variety of pets including cats, dogs, and exotic animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and urgent care services at Dade City Animal Clinic.
• Work under the supervision of veterinarians and assist with various procedures.
• Ensure proper animal handling and restraint during examination.

We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Technician to join our team at Dade City Animal Clinic in Dade City, Florida. Our busy, 3-doctor practice sees a variety of pets providing preventative and urgent care services.

Location: 13117 US-301, Dade City, FL 33525

Schedule: 4 weekday shifts; (Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5 pm). Must be available to work half day every other Saturday.

Who You Are:

• 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Passion for working with small animals, birds, exotics, and their owners
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint for a variety of species
• Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital or outdoor setting
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
