Animal Mansion Veterinary Hospital in Columbia, NJ is hiring a Veterinary Technician to join our team. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly salary and a schedule that includes weekdays and rotating Saturdays, with benefits and room for professional growth.

You will support veterinarians with patient care, perform lab work and radiographs, handle animals safely, and communicate care instructions to clients while maintaining accurate records in a compassionate, client-focused

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of veterinary experience is required.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
• Familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate clearly with clients, including care instructions and status updates
• Perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
• Follow hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Veterinary Technician

Salary: $20 - $30 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule: This is a full-time position with the following schedule: Monday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Thursday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and rotating Saturday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
