The Cat Doctor in Johnstown, CO is seeking 2–3 RVTs or recent grads awaiting the VTNE to join our feline-focused team. We value fear-free handling, client communication, and a well-rounded skill set across surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, and clinical care.

We offer a supportive, privately owned practice environment with a small boarding facility and opportunities for professional development, CE credits, and health benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care across surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, radiology and lab testing.
• Assist in vaccine boosters, blood draws, nail trims, and patient care workflows.
• Educate clients and provide post-visit instructions to ensure quality outcomes.

Registered Veterinary Technician - The Cat Doctor - Privately Owned

Johnstown, CO

Love cats? So do we. The Cat Doctor, a Gold-Level Feline Friendly Practice, is growing and looking to add 2–3 RVTs (or recent grads awaiting the VTNE) to our team.

We’re a progressive, well-equipped clinic where technicians truly get to use their skills. We offer technician appointments for patients in need of certain vaccine boosters, blood draws, nail trims, etc. We are looking for a well-rounded person versed in all aspects of care including surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory testing, and client education. We also have a small boarding facility (with shared care responsibilities).

What we’re looking for:

A cat-savvy, positive team player who’s comfortable with fear-free handling and enjoys connecting with clients.

The details:

• Full-time, 4–5 days/week (32+ hours)
• $24–$27/hour (DOE)
• 9-hour day shifts, some weekends
