VCA Broadway Animal Hospital in Elmira, NY is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our full-service practice. You will support the Technician and Doctor teams and help deliver outstanding care to our patients, while creating a positive, low-stress experience for clients.

We value your credentials (CVT/RVT/LVT) and offer a pathway for growth, continuing education, and a strong benefits package. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of practice experience with surgical proficiency.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician credential (CVT/RVT/LVT) required or eligible.
• 3–5 years in practice with surgical proficiency preferred.
• Strong client communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Technician and Doctor teams with patient care and client interaction.
• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgeries.
• Provide dentistry, radiology, laboratory work and venipuncture.
• Assist with catheter placement, pharmacy, patient recovery.
• Deliver compassionate care to hospitalized animals.
