GoodVets is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians and ensure top-quality care for patients across our network.

You’ll perform clinical duties from venipuncture and anesthesia monitoring to diagnostics, client communication, and recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• CVT or RVT license preferred but not required.
• Experience in veterinary surgery and anesthesia.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer service orientation.

• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters.
• Conduct radiographic imaging and assist with diagnostics.
• Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures.
• Perform physical exams and assess patients; communicate findings.
• Assist in surgical preparation, dental procedures, and lab work.
• Deliver compassionate care to hospitalized patients.
• Maintain patient records and educate clients for follow-up.

What You’ll Do

• Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters with accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct radiographic imaging and assist with diagnostics
• Monitor anesthesia and support veterinarians during surgical procedures
• Conduct physical exams and patient assessments, communicating findings effectively
• Assist in surgical preparation, dental procedures, and lab work
• Deliver compassionate care to hospitalized patients, ensuring comfort and safety
• Support patient recordkeeping and client communication for follow-up and education
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and supportive hospital environment

Our Veterinary Technicians Have

• CVT or RVT license preferred but not required
• Prior surgical and anesthesia experience in a veterinary clinical setting
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong customer service orientation and a passion for helping pets and people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn new techniques and grow professionally
