About us:
Novato Veterinary Hospital provides wellness care, vaccinations, spay and neuter, dental care, digital x-ray, and nutritional counseling for dogs and cats in Novato, Rohnert Park, Petaluma, San Rafael, Vallejo, Larkspur, Corte Madera, and the surrounding areas. Our hospital is located in downtown Novato, with close proximity to the freeway for easy commuting. We have many opportunities for professional growth and lead roles!

Novato Veterinary Hospital is looking to hire experienced Veterinary Technicians/ CVT/ RVT's.

As a technician, it is your job to interact with the pets and owners before the Veterinarian performs the examination. We are looking for people that encourage teamwork, possess a positive attitude, and have a passion for animals.

At Novato Veterinary Hospital, we provide:
  • Preventative care, emergency care, and surgical procedures.

Some of the responsibilities of our Veterinary Technicians include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing general nursing care.
  • Examining animals and checking vitals in preparation for the Veterinarian.
  • Taking x-rays of animals.
  • Placing catheters.
  • Administering first aid for emergencies.
  • Administering medication and treatments.
  • Drawing blood samples for testing.
  • Monitoring animals under anesthesia.

Requirements:
  • Strong affinity for animals.
  • Outstanding people skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
  • Undeterred by being scratched and bitten by patients.
  • Team player.

Our hospital hours are: Monday-Friday 8:00am-8:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm and closed on Sundays.
