Job summary

VCA Burton Animal Hospital in Burton, OH is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our medical team. We offer a $1500 signing bonus and a compensation range of $22–$25 per hour, based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

You will work alongside licensed veterinarians and technicians to provide exceptional patient care, client service, and ongoing professional development within a supportive hospital culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician with CVT/RVT/LVT credentials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Strong client communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support technician and doctor teams to create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients.
• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgeries.
• Dentistry, radiology, laboratory work, venipuncture, catheter placement.
• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals.
