PAZ Veterinary West in Austin, Texas is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting with examinations, treatments, diagnostics, and surgical procedures, and supporting doctors to deliver compassionate care.

You will perform IV catheter placement, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Hands-On Veterinary Medicine

Put your technical skills to use every day! Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, diagnostic testing, and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include:

• IV catheter placement
• venipuncture and blood draws
• patient restraint and handling
• laboratory diagnostics
• monitoring patients under general anesthesia and sedation
• track vital signs
• support surgical recovery
• maintain accurate medical records
• help ensure patient comfort and safety.
