Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited veterinary technology program.
• Unrestricted licensure with the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Board.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist students in classroom, lab and/or clinical environments to ensure safety and learning.
• Suggest or develop teaching materials, activities and handouts for the course.
• Assist in lab activities and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with department staff on curriculum revisions reflecting current trends and AVMA/VT education standards.
• Abide by College/Department policies and objectives.
• Participate in assessment and evaluation activities to improve instructional quality; ensure OSHA compliance.
