Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to guide the team, support the Practice Manager, and maintain high standards of client and patient care. You will also perform Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties as needed.

The role requires weekend and evening availability, two years of veterinary hospital experience, and a high school diploma. Banfield offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to work at a computer for long periods.
• Comfort around pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles).
• Must work special hours including weekends and evenings.
• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the hospital team to maximize productivity and client/pet care.
• Assist Practice Manager/COS and perform Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties as needed.
• Ensure quality medical care, exceptional client service and associate engagement.
• Help schedule associates to meet client needs and plan CE.
