Responsibilities

• Attend required staff meetings and assist across services as directed.
• Aids in the development of others to competently perform skills at assistant levels.
• Triaging and handling patients per hospital policy; restrain feline and canine patients per AVMA guidelines.
• Maintain client/patient records per hospital protocols; communicate clearly with owners.
• Perform radiology using proper technique and PPE; assist with diagnostic labs and med prep.
• Nursing care duties including vital signs, IV setup, wound care, and discharge instructions.
• Assist with anesthesia monitoring, emergency response, and CPR; manage anesthesia equipment.
