Cottage Pet Hospital in Anaheim is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our caring team. The RVT will help room patients, assist in surgery, place IV catheters, draw blood and run tests, while ensuring safe, humane handling and accurate imaging.

Qualifications

• Current RVT license is required.
• 3+ years clinical veterinary experience preferred.
• Strong anesthesia monitoring experience.
• Able to teach, train, and mentor staff.
• Experience with inventory for surgeries and supplies.
• Understands surgery scheduling and workflow control.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for procedures.
• Assist in surgery and place IV catheters.
• Draw blood and run bloodwork as needed.
• Knowledge of X-ray and proper positioning.
• Handle and restrain animals with care and safety.
