Western Veterinary Partners is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician at Fairmont Veterinary Hospital to support surgery, anesthesia, and dental procedures in a fast-paced general practice environment.

You will coordinate schedules, prepare anesthetic medications, monitor anesthesia, perform dental work, and guide clients through admissions and discharges, with a competitive hourly pay and full benefits.

Formación

• 3+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
• Anesthetic monitoring and recovery
• Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
• Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Medication administration and accurate drug calculations
• Accurate medical record documentation
• Client education and communication
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate surgical and dental procedure schedules
• Calculate and prepare anesthetic medications and dosages
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia patients
• Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
• Monitor patient recovery and ongoing procedural care
• Guide clients through admission and discharge with compassion
