Bedrock Veterinary Specialists in Cornelius, NC is seeking a Surgical Scrub Technician/ Nurse to support our fast-paced specialty surgery center. You will scrub in with board-certified surgeons, assist anesthesia, prepare sterile supplies, and help with pack prep in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Scrub nurse or surgery assistant from human medicine, RVT, LVT or equivalent experience.
• Scrubbing into surgical procedures and assisting surgeons in the operating room.
• Familiarity with sterile fields and O.R. protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia team in preparing patients for surgery.
• Open sterile supplies and instruments in the O.R.
• Position and drape surgery patients and assist with pack prep.
• Scrub in with surgeons and assist during procedures.
