Qualifications

• Veterinary assistant experience required; surgical/sterile environment experience a strong asset.
• Calm, efficient approach in fast-paced setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and handle animals up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and technicians with patient exams, triage, and procedures.
• Prepare and assist with surgeries; maintain sterile technique.
• Monitor patients post-operatively and manage pain and comfort.
