The Virginia Veterinary Centers in Short Pump, VA is hiring a Veterinary Surgery Instrument Technician to join our team!

Compensation
  • $17 - $19/hr
Schedule
  • 5/8-hour shifts per week. 11am - 7pm
Position Overview

To elevate VVC's Surgery Department's equipment and instrument care, maintenance, and inventory.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Responsible for cleaning and routine maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment
  • Communicating needs of repair to Inventory Manager
  • Maintaining and organizing instrument inventory with some instrument ordering
  • Maintaining and organizing implant inventory and ordering
  • Inventory counts and ordering to ensure adequate instrumentation and implants are available
  • Meticulous cleaning and maintenance of specialized surgery equipment as outlined by the manufacturer
  • Keep monthly cleaning and maintenance schedules of instruments and equipment
