Position Overview: Hometown Veterinary Partners (HVP) is seeking motivated and passionate veterinary students to join our team as Veterinary Student Representatives. This role offers hands-on experience, networking opportunities, and a chance to contribute to the veterinary community. Representatives will serve as a liaison between HVP and veterinary students, promoting our values and gathering feedback from the student community. Responsibilities include participating in events, assisting with marketing, and fostering relationships between the company and future veterinarians.

Impactful Activities:

  • Represent HVP at campus events, career fairs, and student meetings.
  • Organize and host informational sessions, workshops, and webinars.
  • Gather feedback on student interests and concerns to inform company initiatives.
  • Engage with students via social media and digital platforms.
  • Follow college regulations regarding campus presence and events.
  • Communicate with academic staff and student organizations to identify support opportunities.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions for updates and development.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create campus promotional materials.
  • Serve as a point of contact for students interested in HVP opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Enrolled in an AVMA-accredited College of Veterinary Medicine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Enthusiastic about representing HVP and its values.
  • Leadership or ambassador experience is a plus.
  • Skilled in using social media for promotion.
  • Commitment for at least one school year, with potential for extension.
