Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Miami, FL seeks a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to support the Practice Manager and lead a daytime team in delivering high-quality care and client service. The Shift Lead takes on duties of Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant as needed, while guiding staff toward productive, compliant operations.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years of veterinary hospital experience, comfort with a busy environment, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work weekends and evening shifts.
• Comfort around pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Practice Manager and COS to guide the team toward productive, compliant operations.
• Provide exceptional client and pet experiences and ensure high-quality care and service.
• Perform duties of Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant when needed.
• Schedule associates to meet client needs and proactively plan time off and CE scheduling.
• Ensure adherence to Banfield policies and procedures and dress code.
