Job summary

Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital - Round Rock is seeking an experienced Veterinary Rehabilitation Technician to support evaluations, rehabilitation treatments, and client communication. The successful candidate will join a growing team focused on improving pet mobility and quality of life.

Two years of veterinary technician experience are required. The role emphasizes collaboration with doctors and rehabilitation staff, ongoing learning, and reliable, compassionate care

Veterinary Rehabilitation Technician

Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital - Round Rock is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician who is ready to bring skill, compassion, and curiosity to a growing rehabilitation team.

Minimum requirement: two years of experience working as a veterinary technician.

As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will work alongside doctors, shift leadership, and rehabilitation team members to deliver exceptional patient care and supportive client experience. You will assist with evaluations, perform rehabilitation treatments, communicate with pet owners, and play an important role in helping patients improve comfort, mobility, and confidence. In this role, you will receive directions from the Rehabilitation Director, who provides assignments, priorities, and support. You will handle routine responsibilities independently, use good judgment in new or unfamiliar situations, and partner with leadership to ensure care is delivered accurately, safely, and consistently.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, stand and restrain animals for extended periods of time. Required to lift up to forty (40) pounds. Employees will be expected to request assistance with lifting or carrying animals or materials over 40 pounds.
