Cat Hair Is a Fashion Accessory Around Here

Do you introduce yourself to strangers’ dogs? Have you ever forgotten your neighbor’s name but somehow know every dog on your block? Is cat hair less of an inconvenience and more of a wardrobe staple?

If so, Towne South Animal Hospital wants to talk!

We’re looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team of amazing veterinary professionals. At Towne South Animal Hospital, we’re passionate about the care we provide to our patients and the people who love them. Our reception team plays an important role in helping us create healthier lives for pets and their families by making every interaction welcoming, compassionate, and organized.

Our motto is simple: “Be Kind.” We practice it with clients, patients, teammates, and ourselves.

Why Our Veterinary Receptionists Love It Here

  • A “Be Kind” culture built around empathy, teamwork, and respect
  • Flexible scheduling that supports a healthy work-life balance
  • Regular lunch breaks
  • Rotating Saturday shifts
  • A clinic culture that celebrates your unique awesomeness
  • A team where your passion for pets and veterinary care can shine
  • An environment where knowledge, skills, and experiences are meant to be shared
  • The opportunity to take ownership of your responsibilities and make a meaningful impact
  • Teammates who understand that the right cattitude can make anything pawsible
  • Plenty of reasons to keep believing—or retrieving, as your dog would say

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll help create a positive experience for clients and patients while supporting the hospital's flow. You’ll:

  • Welcome clients and patients with kindness, empathy, and professionalism
  • Support clients throughout their experience with the hospital
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners and teammates
  • Help keep the front desk and daily client-service workflow organized
  • Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to support patients and their families
  • Approach client concerns and questions with patience and empathy
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities to help deliver positive outcomes
  • Share your knowledge, skills, and experiences with teammates—spidey powers are welcome, too
  • Bring positivity and a team-first attitude to each day
  • Let your passion for pets and veterinary care shine in every interaction

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who understands that veterinary reception is about much more than the front desk. You’re often the first person a client connects with and an important part of creating the compassionate experience we want every family to receive.

You’ll bring:

  • A genuine passion for pets and veterinary care
  • Compassionate and empathetic communication
  • A positive, professional approach to client service
  • A willingness to support your coworkers and share what you know
  • Confidence taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a veterinary team
  • Empathy for clients, coworkers, and yourself
  • A dependable and team-focused attitude
  • A willingness to contribute to a kind, supportive workplace
  • And, of course, the right cattitude—because anything is pawsible

The Extras You’ll Actually Feel

Life outside the clinic matters, too. That’s why Towne South Animal Hospital values flexibility in scheduling and regular lunch breaks to help our team maintain a healthier balance.

Inside the hospital, you’ll find a culture where positivity matters, kindness is intentional, and your unique awesomeness is worth celebrating.

We want you to take pride in what you do, own your responsibilities, share your knowledge, and bring your personality to work. After all, veterinary medicine is better when the people behind it enjoy working together.

And whatever you do, don’t stop believing—or retrieving.
