Veterinary Receptionist Responsibilities:

• Greet all clients with a cheerful greeting; answer phones; take messages and answer basic client questions.
• Know the range of services the practice provides and the species it treats; advise clients/recommend services for their pets; provide estimates.
• Differentiating and prioritizing between routine cases and emergency cases and alert staff accordingly.
• Understand and use special record notations and make appropriate notes in patient records.
• Be familiar with infectious and common zoonotic diseases, including prevention and transmission.
• Maintain medical records.
• Handle all cash transactions, including deposits and invoicing.

Veterinary Receptionist Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a good attitude and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Must love animals!
• A flexible approach to compensation that will reflect your skillset and future performance.

The salary range for this position is $18 - $22 per hour. Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The actual rate offered will carefully consider your skills, qualifications, and experience.
