Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Country Lakes Animal Clinic is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

At Country Lakes, clients aren’t just names on a schedule. Many have been bringing their pets here for years, and some even drive in from Long Island to do it. Between wellness visits, boarding drop-offs, grooming pickups, and the occasional hard goodbye, the front desk is where that trust begins.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment. Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $16.00 – $18.50 per hour, for each hour worked
• Schedule:This is a full-time position with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Rotating Saturday availability may be needed in the future. No on-call requirements.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Ability to manage a multi-line phone system while assisting in-person clients
• Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Cornerstone, preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
• Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
