Qualifications

  • Previous animal-care or veterinary experience is required.
  • Previous veterinary reception or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfort working around dogs, cats and other companion animals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, compassionate service to clients and their pets.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions and inquiries.
  • Schedule and manage veterinary appointments accurately and efficiently.
  • Welcome clients and patients and provide a positive front-desk experience.
  • Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient information.
  • Process payments and assist with client accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other team members.
  • Help coordinate communication between the front desk and medical team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Assist with daily front-office operations and administrative duties as needed.
  • Protect client confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and compassion even during busy or challenging situations.

Our Customer Service Representatives are an essential part of that mission, helping pet owners feel welcomed, informed, and supported from their first phone call through checkout.

Position Details

Role: Customer Service Representative (Veterinary Receptionist)

Status: Full-time

Salary: Competitive and based on experience

Schedule: 30-35 hours per week including weekends
