Job summary

Companion Animal Hospital & Boarding Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a full-time receptionist. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients warmly, maintain medical records, and handle scheduling and payments to keep the hospital running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of veterinary experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and willingness to work weekends/holidays. Veterinary software experience is a plus.

• Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
• A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system and greet clients with a positive attitude.
• Ensure seamless care coordination by maintaining accurate medical records and managing appointment schedules.
• Handle financial transactions and educate clients on preventative care and hospital services.
• Provide a calming, empathetic presence and treat each pet with care.

What You'll Bring to the Team
