Job description

BluePearl Maitland is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Radiologist to join our team.

We are the only large referral specialty hospital in Central Florida. Our business hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am - 6 pm, and Saturday, 7 am - 1 pm. After-hours emergencies are seen at local emergency veterinary hospitals and then referred to our hospital for continued care when needed.

Our team includes specialists in emergency critical care, internal medicine, surgery, neurology, radiology with an on-site radiologist, medical and radiation oncology, dentistry, and integrated medicine. We have rotating interns, specialty interns, and residents in internal medicine, surgery, and neurology. Ophthalmology and dermatology are available for consultations nearby. Our 30,000 sq ft hospital features advanced equipment such as a 64-slice helical CT, 1.5 Tesla MRI, ultrasounds, and digital radiography. We offer treatments including radioiodine therapy, linear accelerator, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and physical therapy. Antech's on-premises laboratory allows fast turnaround for lab results, and we utilize digital cytology technology.

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work effectively with colleagues, staff, and referring veterinarians. We value strong relationships with our community, so the candidate must be willing to engage through visits, CE presentations, and case discussions.

The Central Florida area serves a referral population of over 2 million and offers numerous leisure and cultural activities, including beaches, outdoor pursuits, theme parks, the Kennedy Space Center, and historic Downtown Winter Park.
