Job summary

The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a non-tenure track faculty member in Veterinary Radiation Oncology. This full-time appointment is available immediately on the St.

Paul campus, with in-person clinical duties at the Veterinary Medical Center and potential for hybrid teaching roles. You will build and advance a radiation oncology service, participate in clinical care, education, and translational research, and collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Residency in Veterinary Radiation Oncology completed by appointment start date.
• Board certification or board-eligibility through ACVR (or equivalent).
• Eligible for veterinary licensure in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Build a radiation oncology program to provide radiation therapy care for companion animals.
• Participate in the diagnosis, management and treatment of radiation oncology cases.
• Provide veterinary radiation oncology consultations to local veterinarians, faculty and house officers.
• Clinical instruction of interns, residents and veterinary students.
• Work closely with other faculty, house officers, and veterinary technicians to deliver high-quality care.
