Veterinary Practice Manager - Angell at Essex Technical School

Join MSPCA-Angell as a Veterinary Practice Manager at Essex Technical School in Danvers, MA. This is a full-time, exempt position working approximately 40 hours per week with varying days and hours.

About the Clinic: Established in 2019, our veterinary clinic is part of Essex Tech's veterinary assistant program, offering students a rigorous academic curriculum combined with hands-on clinical training under the supervision of Angell clinicians.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing clinic operations, including inventory management, equipment servicing, and supply ordering.
• Supervising veterinary technicians, assistants, and high school students.
• Supporting client services and performing technical duties as needed, including intubation, anesthesia, and other veterinary procedures.
• Collaborating with Essex Tech staff to coordinate student schedules and program activities.
• Managing employee relations and fostering a positive work environment.

Physical and Applicant Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds independently, and perform animal restraint and handling tasks.
• Minimum five years of experience as a Certified Veterinary Technician and in hospital management.
• Current MA Certified Veterinary Technician certification required.
