National Veterinary Associates (NVA) seeks a Veterinary Pharmacy Technician to support safe dispensing of medications for animal patients. You will prepare, verify, and manage veterinary pharmaceuticals, perform diagnostics testing, and maintain inventory while collaborating with veterinarians, owners, and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities include compounding, sterile IV admixtures, data entry, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Veterinary Pharmacy Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting the safe and effective dispensing of medications for animal patients. This energetic position involves preparing, verifying, and managing veterinary pharmaceuticals while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. You will also be responsible for performing diagnostics testing on blood, urine and fecal samples. You will maintain inventory of medications, hospital supplies and prescription diets. You will collaborate closely with veterinarians, pet owners, and pharmacy staff to deliver exceptional patient care and medication management. Your expertise will help improve animal health outcomes through precise medication preparation, data entry, and patient service.
