Animal Emergency & Specialty Center in Parker, CO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to manage the hospital's pharmaceutical inventory, dispense meds per DVM prescriptions, and ensure compliance with pharmacy programs and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year work experience in a veterinary or human medicine role with exposure to pharmaceuticals OR 6 months work experience in a pharmacy.
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions for hospitalized patients.
• Fill prescriptions for medications to go home and prepare all go-home medications.
• Manage refills and communicate with clients and external pharmacies per protocol.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements.
