Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferred: experience with sterile and/or non-sterile compounding and USP standards.
• Preferred: familiarity with controlled substances regulations and audit prep.
• Strong teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription refill requests and verify prescription information.
• Prepare inpatient and outpatient prescriptions for dispensation to be checked by the pharmacist.
• Provide customer service to clients picking up prescriptions.
• Maintain compliance with state pharmacy regulations and hospital safety standards.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, pharmacists, students, and hospital staff.
