Job summary

PetVet Care Centers in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a Veterinary Ophthalmologist (DVM or VMD) to join Animal Eye Guys. You will work with a team of veterinarians and support staff in a network-backed practice, with a focus on advanced eye care for pets.

We offer a 40-hour full-time schedule with flexible options (3/4/3, 3-day or 4-day weeks) and a compensation package ranging from $220,000 to $250,000 plus production, plus signing/relocation incentives.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties such as prescribing medications and following controlled substance protocols.
