Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited school.
• Specialist training in Animal Oncology with board certification or residency training.
• Active Kentucky veterinary licence or eligibility.
• Excellent clinical judgement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage small animal cancer patients.
• Develop individualized oncology treatment and monitoring plans.
• Stage cancer with appropriate diagnostics and imaging.
• Administer and supervise medical oncology treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinicians on complex cases.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to owners.
• Maintain detailed medical records and participate in education.
