Job summary

BluePearl Levittown, PA is seeking a full-time, board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Oncologist to join our collaborative, multispecialty and emergency-focused team. The hospital features dedicated oncology space and advanced diagnostics to support high-quality care.

You will work with specialists across anesthesia, radiology, internal medicine and surgery, and participate in education, clinical studies, and referrals.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary college.
• Board-certified in Oncology or completed residency training with eligibility.
• Excellent communication and collaboration within a multispecialty team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the oncology service within a high-volume hospital.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, radiology, internal medicine and surgery teams.
• Participate in education programs, clinical studies and referrals.
• Support patient care, client communication, and clinical decision-making.

BluePearl Levittown is a state-of-the-art, 20,000-square-foot specialty and emergency veterinary hospital that opened in 2011. We currently have one full-time oncologist and are expanding our oncology department due to increasing demand.

In this collaborative and innovative environment, you'll work alongside specialists in:

• Anesthesiology
• Cardiology
• Clinical Pathology
• Dentistry & Oral Surgery
• Dermatology
• Diagnostic Imaging
• Internal Medicine

Hospital Highlights:

• Dedicated oncology suite in a quiet area of the hospital with ample patient space and multiple workstations
• Chemotherapy prep area conveniently located across from the oncology suite
• Advanced imaging & diagnostics: CT scanner, MRI machine, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound (board-certified radiologists on-site 6 days/week)
• Radioiodine I-131 treatment for cats with hyperthyroidism
• Separate canine and feline wards
• ICU equipped with Snyder oxygen cages, high flow oxygen, telemetry, and mechanical ventilation
• On-site & in-house labs, including VCM viscoelastic monitoring
