Job summary

Minimum qualifications include a two-year AVMA-accredited program with licensure within 6 months; Nurse III requires 5 years of experience. Monday–Friday schedule with after-hours standby.

Qualifications

• For Veterinary Nurse II: 2-year AVMA-accredited program, 2 years of experience, KS license within 6 months.
• For Veterinary Nurse III: 2-year AVMA-accredited program, 5 years of experience, KS license within 6 months.
• Knowledge of basic veterinary concepts, animal behavior, and husbandry.
• Ability to handle and treat domestic animals; maintain safety and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary support and perform semi-routine technical procedures.
• Assist with busy surgery or receiving schedules and support teaching or research.
• Administer treatments and contribute to patient care.
• Work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with after-hours standby for emergencies.
