Job summary

Alpharetta Veterinary Specialty + Emergency AVSE in Alpharetta, GA, is seeking a Veterinary Neurologist to join our new 20,500-square-foot hospital offering ER, neurology, and more.

You will diagnose and manage complex neurologic cases, perform advanced diagnostics, and collaborate with specialists to deliver coordinated, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state licensure.
• Board Certification in Neurology or Residency in Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurologic and neurosurgical conditions in companion animals.
• Perform and interpret advanced neurologic diagnostics and develop comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases.
• Collaborate with specialists, emergency clinicians, and support teams to provide coordinated care for urgent and complex neurologic patients.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referring veterinarians through clear communication and continuity of care.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of neurology services.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
