Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health’s Alpharetta Veterinary Specialty + Emergency (AVSE) seeks a neurologist to join a state-of-the-art facility in Alpharetta, GA. The role focuses on advanced neurology/neurosurgery, collaboration with a broad team, and compassionate client communication.

You will diagnose, plan, and lead care for complex neurologic cases, contribute to service growth, and participate in a supportive, learning-driven hospital culture within Ethos’ expansive network.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree and eligibility for state licensure.
• Board Certification in Neurology or Residency Trained in Neurology preferred.
• Strong communication and client-centered approach required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurologic and neurosurgical conditions in companion animals.
• Perform and interpret advanced neurologic diagnostics and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Collaborate with specialists, emergency clinicians, and support teams for coordinated care.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful situations.
• Build strong relationships with referring veterinarians through clear communication and continuity of care.
• Contribute to growth and development of neurology services.
• Foster a positive, team-focused hospital culture based on collaboration and mentorship.

AVSE is a brand new 20,500-square-foot facility that houses ER, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, and Neurology and we are looking for a second neurologist to join us and support our growing caseload. Together, we will strive to deliver advanced medical treatment to our patients, compassionate and transparent communication to their families, and a collaborative workspace where staff well-being matters.
