Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health in West Caldwell, New Jersey, invites a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist to join our premier specialty and emergency hospital.

You will diagnose and manage a broad range of neurologic disorders, perform advanced diagnostics and procedures, and collaborate with Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, and Anesthesia to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state licensure.
• Board Certification in Neurology (DACVIM-Neurology) or residency training.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurologic disorders across referral and emergency patients.
• Perform advanced neurologic diagnostics and procedures (MRI interpretation, CSF collection, electrodiagnostics).
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Surgery, ECC, Anesthesia and other teams to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Utilize hospital resources (MRI, CT, imaging) to support decision-making and outcomes.
• Provide neurology consultations and mentor staff to foster clinical excellence.
• Guide pet owners through diagnoses, treatments, prognoses, and long-term care plans.
