Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health seeks a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist for a full-time role at our West Caldwell, New Jersey facility. You will diagnose and manage complex neurologic cases, perform advanced diagnostics, and collaborate with multiple specialties to deliver comprehensive care.

You will mentor staff, participate in continued education, and contribute to advancement of neonatal and spinal care within a leading referral hospital network.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Neurology (DACVIM-Neurology) or Residency Trained in Veterinary Neurology.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurologic disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and neuromuscular system in referral and emergency patients.
• Perform advanced neurologic diagnostics and procedures, including MRI interpretation, CSF collection, electrodiagnostic testing, and neurosurgical interventions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, Anesthesia, and other specialty teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Utilize hospital resources including MRI, CT, and C-Arm imaging to support decision-making and outcomes.
• Provide neurology consultations and support continuity of care across hospital services.
