Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina seeks a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist to join our specialty team. You will provide specialized neurology care, including advanced diagnostics and neurosurgical procedures, and collaborate across disciplines.

You will interpret MRI/CT results, develop treatment plans for seizures and spinal brain diseases, and maintain detailed medical records while communicating clearly with clients and referring veterinarians.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Board-certified or residency-trained Neurologist in veterinary medicine.
• Eligible for SC licensure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neurology care, including advanced diagnostics, medical management, and neurosurgical procedures
• Perform and interpret neurological examinations and diagnostic imaging (MRI/CT)
• Develop and implement treatment plans for neurological conditions such as seizures, spinal disorders, and brain disease
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Communicate effectively with clients and referring veterinarians regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely medical records

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
• Board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist
• Eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in South Carolina
• Excellent clinical, communication, and collaboration skills
